This is the First Example that is talking about Apple :

This is the Second Example that is about Microsoft :

This is the Third Example about Apple #2

Part 2. The Genre of the three examples I found was Letters to Tech Companies about products

(Or more specifically, Letters to Tech Companies about how the consumers are reacting to products they have created an how it affects them.)

the Conventions they all had were:Name of Author, Date it was written, and in some cases, Formality
What patterns have you detected across the three examples,

A main pattern is this, all seem to be about the issues of the writer towards an audience larger than just the ones reading it, they are towards large companies as a whole, never calling out a specific person or branch.

the most important patterns I seem to notice are, an issue is addressed almost immediately, and they reference outside sources or products from the target or possibly other related topics( Apple and or Samsung in the same argument) as support for there various topics..

Part 3.

 Apple:

Exigence: Apple and how it is growing as an Icon

Writer: Robert Safian, the editor and managing director of The Flux Group

Secondary/Peripheral Audience: Apple itself might see it as their name is in the article

Writer's Purpose/Goal: To discus how apple is advancing as a company and symbol.

Context/ Background Info: The context is Apple itself and on background info is needed.

Microsoft:

Exigence: They are upset with how advanced the AI in writing is becoming and seems too much.

Writer:John Brandon

Primary/Intended Audience: Microsoft

Secondary/Peripheral Audience: Other Writers perhaps

Writer's Purpose/Goal: To share his concern about AI with the world and company

Context/ Background Info: None is needed

Dell:

Exigence: Thinks Apple should use there technology more for safety instead of accessory

Writer:David Freet

Primary/Intended Audience: Apple

Secondary/Peripheral Audience Apple consumers that share his opinion

Writer's Purpose/Goal: To share his thoughts on how Apple could be more helpful

Context/ Background Info None is needed

Part 4.
What are people writing about?
These people seem to be writing about all of there issues with these tech companies.
What are the different arguments that people make?
There arguments seem to vary as some want less help from companies and some want more, other want the companies to shift there focus to what they think is better.
How are they trying to “win” people over?
They seem to be using other sources to back them up and applaud the companies for there success in there endeavors (1st article). ,others are trying to appeal to the reader in a victim related manner ( 2nd Article), possibly to get support for there argument through pity if the facts fail to do the trick (If there are any facts at all). And lastly, there is the possibility of just stating there opinion and hoping that others share it just because it may be a common problem that others are thinking but haven't decided to share yet (3rd Article)
